The co...Another marvelous article by Sarojini Sahoo
The concept of Yin and Yang in Chinese philosophy, the two energies are opposite to each other, they are complimentary to each other as well. Men and women are opposite poles. It is sane thinking, a single pole is insignificant, they are complementary to each other.
Another theory by Carl Gustav Jung which appears to be interesting to read which states that “anima in man developed in four distinctive levels, Eve, Helen, Mary, and Sophia “.
Eve, Helen, Mary, and Sophia are the well known characters of history, and what Jung wants to say about men inner self can be understood by this example.
What Gerda Lerner claimed that “patriarchy” was something created by Judaism and Christianity. Patriarchy always tries to place masculinity at the centre “, I think it is not true Patriarchy exist before, the advent of Abraham’s religion.
The novel Sultana’s Dream (1905) by Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain appears to be very interesting, It is a good example of day dreaming , she want to take revenge in dream with men putting them as prisoners at home as women.
Shaukat Thanvi a Urdu novelist also write an very interesting novel in 50’s entitle ख़ुदा ना ख़वासता about an imaginary state where female dominating society exist (Just Men and women role interchanged), it must be nightmare for male, but passion or sweet dream for Rokeya

But we should not be day dreamer; instead we should create a society base on justice, where men and women enjoyed equal opportunities.
The lady answered that a lion is stronger than a man but it cannot dominate the human race, is very logical. You will find
In animal world female is not slave of male, if male monkey tries to sex with female monkey, she bite him and never allow him to do anything forcefully. But as a biological difference only female is pregnant bears all hardship and give birth.
I think male animal have not enough mind to exploit female animal, on the other hand men has exploited his muscular power to convert women according to his desire.
As you have pointed out feminist movements are also begin by males, I think every sane person either male or female should believe in equality of mankind. Male Domination appears to be good for men, but I don’t think so, It can’t be equal to atmosphere where people love each other, instead men treat women like animals.
एक भॆंन्स के साथ ज़िन्दगी गुज़ारने का किया मज़ा
As the view” Though the condition of the Hindu female mass was not satisfactory, it was better than that of the Muslim mass”. I think the condition depends on region not by religion. People don’t follow religion in practice; instead add their personnel requirement in religion.
You have pointed out “A lot of important social and economic changes have been taking place in India since then as a result of modernization and industrialization ---“
But I think a lot of work in scientific way is required to do.
When we are taught from child hood
"God deliberated from what member He would create woman, and He reasoned with Himself thus: I must not create her from Adam's head, for she would be a proud person, and hold her head high. If I create her from the eye, then she will wish to pry into all things; if from the ear, she will wish to hear all things; if from the mouth, she will talk much; if from the heart, she will envy people; if from the hand, she will desire to take all things; if from the feet, she will be a gadabout. Therefore I will create her from the member which is hid, that is the rib, which is not even seen when man is naked."
So these types of thoughts become permanent part of our subconscious. We are unable to hear anything different from this. It become like a developed cancer, which reemerge after repeated surgery.
We know different examples in history, when people are persecuted for talking against so called settled issues.
It require marathon endeavor to change thoughts of people.Kalimullahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06280814705278142487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34294300.post-84190777805719775912010-06-14T18:08:42.297-07:002010-06-14T18:08:42.297-07:00Dear Mam, this is good Article, but u don't me...Dear Mam, this is good Article, but u don't mention about Sigmund Feured, Deridda, and theory of Dadaism. After also this essay deals with one painting, it's enough for the work. I wish I could say I agree with every idea you build, but most important to me is understanding and sharing. I am part of the social scientist's arguments that you so clear explain. I understand that 2 opposites that complement each other goes in the right path to perpetuate stereotypes. And gender, as a social construction, is based on rules, which leave aside the ones that doesn't fit in every society. You wrote "It is time for a new feminist perception without any prejudiced misandrial ideas" I agree. But first we could claim ourselves as a group (women) to achieve equality (not guaranteed in many parts of the world), then maybe start to look to each other, whatever sex, as independant human beings with the right to choose how to be defined and without inherent "sex related condiments", to avoid going backwards and place us again in groups that fight for power over others.
Dear Sarojini I am very thankful to you for opening this little corner were we all can meet and talk, best regards.Patricia Que Nadahttp://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30768647&id=1097002010#!/profile.php?id=1326305838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34294300.post-42152397707348019492010-06-13T03:48:31.406-07:002010-06-13T03:48:31.406-07:00very good and informative article.
